On a spur of time I headed down to CGA to take a look at Backyard Bands & BBQ and of course, to use my dining pass...

The first thing that you can find within the park is the newly reopened Maggie's Smokehouse & Fried Chicken.
With my dining pass I have the option of HALF a rotisserie chicken and two sides. A great deal in my book.

First ride of the day was the operational Psycho Mouse, the famed Arrow Mad Mouse to be built and quite the ride for nerd shots. It seemed to run great on Saturday, but the past Saturday before it was unfortunately plagued with the opening day blues. Read about it here.
While ops could be a bit better, this guy seems to be quite happy about Psycho Mouse being open. The exit path also gives you a look at one of the first tilt outs made by (I think) Alan. That said it is hampered by trims galore so the tilt out is not very forceful or even noticeable in the least.
Over in Planet Snoopy the park decided to let the easter box explode all over the area with eggs, signs, and a hoodie with ears for Snoopy. Also, these little mini corn dogs: very good. (And also included on the dining pass.)
On a side note: This looks like Camp Snoopy doesn't it? I mean... Sierra Creek Lodge is a lil' out of place in Planet Snoopy... Food for thought...
Ride news continues as Grizzly has reopened after some off-season partial retracking. Since the turns on Grizzly are banked either right or left, the track part that it leans on was re-tracked. When riding you can see it by the lighter colored wood on one side. While it is still Grizzly, it's much more tolerable than before to basically a GoldStriker tolerable. Unfortunately the blue train is still in the shop so for now: one train ops. :(
This first turn around could lend itself nicely to a barrel up and a barrel down element as seen on Twisted Cyclone. ;P
GoldStriker, while still a world-class ride, has been running a bit bumpy lately. Nothing uncomfortable, but some re-tracking could do some good on it.
My ears were spared.
As I made my way over to Flight Deck you can see what remains of the Peanuts Playhouse (I think that's what it was called) rumored to be used for 2019 in Boomerang Bay, but of course, that's all speculation. That said, the theater hasn't been attacked by demolition and is being treated rather methodically.
I wonder why...

After Flight Deck I went over to the Star Tower for its great views, but the stars did not align and it went down for 20 minutes amid incorrect parking. Luckily it was not to the extent we saw many months ago at Knott's and it was back up in no time.
After all of that I headed back over to The Consulate to take some footage for something.......
After a quick whip on Centrifuge I headed back to the front to redeem my second meal plan. That's all I have so let's round out this update with some night shots from the Von Roll.
