Opening season is around the corner, but luckily at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom the fun doesn't (mostly) stop as the park is open weekends year round. While I don't have a pass to any of the Six Flags chain for the moment Brandon was able to spot and get a closer view at the construction of Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster (yes it is, check RCDB), the park's soon to be eye-catching addition. This first of its kind SkyLine Attractions SkyWarp will stand approximately 60 feet and will be the park's first ride with a dueling aspect. While the park often releases basic renders on their new additions based on the previous year's animation platform, these renders usually don't come with a final render of what the site will look like. Below is a render of Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth, the Zamperla Giant Discovery 40 (find out how it works here), came with some renders that never really came to fruition.
This render for Wonder Woman, however, was made in a different program as stock footage from Riddler Revenge at Six Flags OVer Texas was simply photo-shopped for Wonder Woman. Because of that the final color scheme, area, and other details are often guessed or in the case of the render above: inaccurately created.
In this case the entrance did not feature an entrance sign with lower rockwork, the canopy behind it was never built directly in the center (however a canopy was installed over part of the queue after the IRL photo was taken.), the walking area around the ride never came to be because of clearance and safety issues and the main queue is not rectangular but it staggered and unshaded as for now.
What we did get was a slightly different Wonder Woman emblem (The Joker one was touched up too, thank goodness), the entrance laded towards the right, the entrance sign was a carbon copy of the sign that went to Six Flags America's Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth (a starflyer) and over all the color scheme of the ride itself was different.

Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster
While the park has yet to release any kind of site renders or concept art for what Harley Quinn Crazy Coaster will inevitably look like once complete, I've taken the liberty of creating (very rough) ideas of what the new paths will need to be, where the queue will go and what we can expect this new slightly conjoined ride (to Superman).
Of course I want to mention that lately there was some demolition going on across the plaza that may or may not mean the ride will not go where initially shown. You can read about it here.

To the left is a Google Earth Pro view of where the ride is slated to be constructed. Based on the footprint listed by Skyline Attractions themselves the SkyWarp will cover a 30ft by 120ft area. As shown in the animation the ride will be on the border of the park's go-karts. To see what this means I've drawn a box with the exact dimensions specified.

With that we can then draw in the ride, and the queue based on the principle of trying to reuse as much as possible in regards to pathways and ride infrastructure. As we can see in the image the stations for each side of the train are not in line with each other and based off of this we can presume the right side (in this image) is closer to the fence than the other. We can also draw in the support foundations as they are easily interpretable from the renders. The only logical place for the switchbacks is right in front of the ride on the park side to allow for the largest amount of exposure to incoming guests enroute to the front of the park.
From how the ride will be built we can infer that part of the Superman exit pathway and Flash Pass entrance will be removed to make way for the supports and will be rerouted around the perimeter of the ride.
Riders will likely enter through a miniature entrance 'plaza' to the right of Superman's permanent scaffolding sign and into the switchbacks surrounded by (assuming they make them again) little placards showing information about Harley Quinn and likely the Joker. One at the end of the switchbacks riders will be grouped and split up into two sides and follow the corresponding paths to the proper station for boarding. After the ride has stopped riders can exit towards the fence (the ride has opposing seating so exit to your left/right won't work) and out to meet up with the exit pathway for Superman and follow the rerouted pathway back to the exit plaza.
As for what will be the operators booth and what will be the power room, I've left that little red rectangle in the upper righthand corner for possibilities, however it will likely be the old Zonga ride photo booth that has been shuttered for years.
I should also mention that the park has a life-size statue/mannequin of Harley Quinn that has been rooming in The Joker's gift shop ever since it opened. Maybe that was a sign... Maybe we'll see that statue make a move to this area to save a few bucks, nothing wrong with that.
Finally, as a last rough render or concept art, here's a very basic idea of what to expect...

Overall I'm not sure what the park is treating this addition as in terms of how much theming it will receive. Will it be simple like on Wonder Woman or extensive like The Joker? Flat ride theming or coaster theming. It really depends on the budget, but we should also keep in mind this year is less about the additions and more about park renovations which you can read about here.
